The Uncharted terrain of healthcare
What kind of future is trying to emerge, and who must we become to build it together?
On February 11th, 2026 we sent a letter to Mark Carney, the Prime Minister of Canada, and other elected officials, federal and provincial, inviting a different kind of conversation about the future of healthcare in Canada.
The letter is available in French here.
If the message of this letter speaks to you, please share it with friends, family, colleagues and across your social networks. As the letter is invitational, you could simply share it with the words “I’m in”. There is power in our collective voice.
What we’re collectively noticing
Healthcare is in crisis
Not just of efficiency and outcome, but of meaning, purpose, and relationship.
What’s missing is the relational fabric
The unspoken, unseen dynamics between patients, caregivers, and systems that shape care. How do we put people ahead of roles?
We need a paradigm shift
From fixing broken parts to cultivating systems that thrive like ecosystems: alive, connected, and whole.
A different path forward
Uncharted cultivates new ways of relating to our shared healthcare experience. It’s an invitation to come back home to ways of being together that support our individual and collective healing - to restore the practice of healthcare so it is in service to everyone.
Here are two ways to explore Uncharted…
JOIN Living Spaces
Entering the field of care
In Living Spaces, perspectives meet and mingle, forming a richer ecology of understanding. In our togetherness, care rekindles its warmth. Healthcare becomes alive again, it returns home to connection, to meaning, to the living fascia that holds us all.
Weekly online gatherings, open to everyone, are an experience of seeing and listening, a living conversation where something unmeasured can emerge.
DISCOVER New School
A learning ecology for care
What if we dared to look differently? What if we created spaces to invite depth back in – places to honor the complexity of health and care?
Traditional medical education trains healthcare professionals to deliver care. Leadership programs train managers and executives to execute on care. The New School goes deeper. It is an enlarged learning ecology for healthcare professionals, leaders and advocates that engages people in the complex dynamics of caring.
